1000 Islands Bed and Breakfast – The Bulloch House Registration Policies & House Rules 

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, the Management requests your co-operation in observing the following as an agreement between the guest and the Bulloch House, under which rooms are permitted to be used by the guest(s)

1.   Reservation Policy      Direct bookings, (no third-party booking partner) are not guaranteed until payment in full has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.  Please contact us for our favourable direct booking rates.

 

2.   Cancelation Policy  Direct bookings, (no third-party booking partner) a credit will be issued for cancellation. No compensation will be issued for cancellations 7 days or earlier.  No compensation will be given for early departures.  We reserve the right to cancel a booking prior to arrival and give a full refund at any time.

3. Tariff  The tariff is for the room with a maximum of two guests, one parking space, stated amenities (policy 14.) only and is exclusive of any government or municipal taxes and fees applicable.  Other options and services may be available at extra cost. 4. Settlement of Bills   Payment in full must be settled upon reservation.  Personal cheques are not accepted 30 days or earlier. 

5. Check-in   Check in time is 3pm. Early check in may be available.  If you plan to arrive after 6pm please notify us so we can arrange to greet you accordingly.  Guest registration, policy and procedure forms must be signed on arrival.  Please present your original government issued ID upon Check-in with direct bookings.

6. Departure   Check out time is 11am, please inform the management if you wish to retain your room beyond this time. The extension will be given depending on the availability. If the room is available, a tariff may be charged based on length of extension. Contact us for availability and details.  On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry the management shall have the right to remove the guest and their belongings from the room occupied by the Guest.

7. Luggage Storage   Subject to availability of the storage space, the guest can store luggage at the guest's sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause, Luggage may not be stored for a period of over 24 hours.

8. Guest's Belongings   Guests are requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out or retiring. The Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss / or damage in any way to the Guest's belongings, vehicle or any other of their property whatsoever including theft or pilferage while on the property.

9. Pets   We do not welcome animals on the property. Exceptions may apply.

10. Accessibility   We regret we cannot accommodate wheelchair access.

11. Children   We regret we cannot accommodate children under the age of 12. Exceptions may apply.

12.  Diet & Allergies   Management will make every attempt to identify ingredients that my cause adverse diet or allergic reactions or effects to our guests; however, we cannot guarantee cross-contamination of ingredients.  Please inform us of diet requirements and allergies and we will make every attempt to accommodate your needs but cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions.

13.  High Cream Tea   To be arranged upon request and is complimentary to all guest who book at regular price. High tea is available to guests booked at special or discounted prices or with our booking partners at an additional charge. Please see our website for regular pricing.

14.  Amenities     All rooms and suites include the following:

                -  two luxury bathrobes, face, hand and bath towels and luxury bed linens, pillows, blankets and covers

                -  fireplace, balcony with seating (not applicable to the Petite Kroeg Room)

                -  free wi-fi, 4k television, alarm clock with double charging stations, hairdryer and toiletries

                -  full breakfast 7 am to 10 am and complimentary beverages and snacks

                -  complimentary self-parking for one car

15.  Security / Safety / Entry   This property is equipped with full security including cameras and alarm system to protect our guests and valuables.  Crowded House Antiques is onsite and offers antiques paintings and objects d’art throughout the property for sale.  Please do not move or remove furniture, paintings, any object from their space.  We will happily assist and answer any of your questions about the purchase of any item of interest. The property entry method used is AUGUST SMART LOCK SYSTEM, either sent by invitation to your smart phone as a downloaded application or key code pad entry system will be provided.  If unable to utilize this system a key will be provided and a security deposit charged of $500, refunded upon return of key.  Cost for lost or stolen house key is $500.00 plus applicable taxes / room key is $10.00 plus applicable taxes.

16. Hazardous Goods Bringing and/or storing articles of a combustible or hazardous nature and/or prohibited goods and/or goods of objectionable nature is prohibited. The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management, its other guests, visitors, agents and servants for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or because of the guests' own negligence and non-observance of any instructions. Weapons, explosives, flammable objects, candles, chemicals, poisons, drugs, animals and pungent food are strictly prohibited on the premises.  ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR VAPING ON THE PROPERTY OR GROUNDS AT ANY TIME. $250 DEODORIZING AND CLEANING CHARGE WILL APPLY.

17. Damage to Property   The guest will be held responsible and charged a fee for any loss or damage to the property or contents caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible, accidental or otherwise. If you have an incident, accident or emergency, no matter how small please contact us immediately.

18. Management's Rights    It is agreed that the guest will conduct themselves in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the premise.  Extra guests or visitors MUST be cleared by the Management. The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate their room or other areas of the premises forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default, the Management has the right to remove the Guest luggage and belongings from the room occupied by them.

19. Relation between Management and Guest   Nothing hereinabove shall continue or be deemed to constitute, or create any tenancy or sub-tenancy, or any other right to interact in the premises or any part of portion thereof, in favour of any guest or resident or visitor, and the Management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute possession of the whole of the premises.

20. Government rules and regulations and application of laws   Guest are requested to observe, abide by, confirming to be bound by all applicable acts and laws and Government rules and regulations in force from time to time. Management reserves the right to add or amend any of the above terms, conditions and rules at any time.
